Title: Sensory fusion applied to power system state estimation considering information theory concepts
Issue Date: 2016-07-18
Description: With the increasing integration of synchronized phasor measurement units (PMU) in power grids appears the necessity to create methods capable to merge the information obtained from different classes of sensors, namely PMU and the conventional sensors already integrated in the SCADA system. Thus, this dissertation proposes a sensory fusion that guarantees the previous requirement. Beyond that, this thesis proposes an application of concepts related with Information theory to the state estimation problem. This application aims to propose a robust state estimator without the necessity of previous treatment of the acquired data.
