| Abstract: | The site of Legoinha is the starting point for this work of analysis, comprehension and intervention in a rural setting inserted in Trás-os-Montes. Therefore, the present work initiates from the registry that intends to inform and support the fundamental piece, the project, as a response to the proposed exercise. Thus, the first part explores the comprehension and background of the site regarding three fundamental pieces: the rural setting of Legoinha itself and its relation with the broad territory; the church of Santo Amaro and its relation with the landscape of the site; and lastly, the analysis of a cluster of habitation, corrals and agricultural warehouses. The second part is exclusively focused on the church, with the intention of identifying the particularities that evoked its study, namely the presence of mural paintings from the XVI century located in the back wall, as well as its current state of degradation and its insertion in the project Rota da Fé. Considering the objective of Câmara Municipal de Alfândega da Fé in potentiate Legoinha in regards of the remaining chapels, it is proposed an intervention in one of the vernacular constructions aiming to become an interpretive center for Rota da Fé. The third and last part will focus on discussing the Project regarding questions related to the implications of intervening in a rural setting, in a religious construction and in a vernacular construction, namely in terms of the specificities to consider in each case. |
| Description: | O lugar de Legoinha é o ponto de partida para este trabalho de análise, compreensão e intervenção num núcleo rural inserido na região trasmontana. Assim, o presente trabalho parte do levantamento e registo que pretende informar e apoiar a peça fundamental, o projecto, como resposta ao exercício que se propõe. Desta forma, a primeira parte explora a compreensão e enquadramento do lugar em torno de três peças fundamentais: o próprio núcleo rural de Legoinha e a sua relação com o território abrangente; a Igreja de Santo Amaro e a sua relação com a paisagem presente neste lugar, e por último, a análise de um núcleo de habitação, currais e armazéns agrícolas, em particular. A segunda parte centra-se em exclusivo na Igreja, onde se pretende dar a conhecer as particularidades que suscitaram o seu estudo, nomeadamente a presença de pinturas murais datadas do século XVI na sua parede fundeira, o estado de degradação em que se encontra e a sua inserção no projecto Rota da Fé. Tendo em consideração o objectivo da Câmara Municipal de Alfândega da Fé de potenciar Legoinha face às restantes capelas da rota, propõe-se que o exercício de intervenção numa das construções vernaculares do núcleo corresponda a um centro interpretativo da Rota da Fé. A terceira e última parte focar-se-á na discução de hipóteses relativas ao projecto, especificamente as questões em torno das implicações de intervir num núcleo rural, numa obra religiosa e numa construção vernacular, assim como, quais as especificidades a atender em cada um dos casos. |
