| Abstract: | The history of the General Company of the Agriculture of the Alto Douro vineyards is till to be done. However, in this study that analyse s the end of the State intervention in the Company, it was possible to demonstrate that the year in question, unlike what has been written, is 1852, but that this Company kept on working as a commercial establishment, which also leads us to conclude that from its foundation, in 1756, it was never extinguished. |
