dc.description	A presente dissertação tem como objeto de estudo a catedral da Guarda e procura compreender a sua evolução e transformação ao longo do tempo. Tendo a catedral como foco abordam-se diferentes conteúdos, que se dividem em três partes. Primeiramente, com recurso a uma análise da escala urbana, procura-se saber mais sobre as diferentes Sés da cidade da Guarda até à fundação da atual. Segue-se com uma leitura atenta e aprofundada de duas fontes bibliográficas que estudaram a catedral na passagem do século XIX para o século XX. Por fim, tendo consolidado o estado da arte e com uma observação atenta da catedral e dos seus espaços, propicia-se um espaço de debate e questionamento do conhecimento arquitetónico, recorrendo a uma leitura de temáticas e reflexão sobre o faseamento.
dc.description.abstract	This dissertation has as object of study the Cathedral of Guarda and seeks to understand its evolution and transformation over time. Focusing on the cathedral, different contents are approached, which are divided into three parts. First, using an urban scale analysis, we seek to learn more about the different cathedrals of the city of Guarda until the foundation of the current one. It continues with an in-depth reading of two bibliographic sources that studied the cathedral on the transition from the 19th to the 20th century. Finally, having consolidated the state of the art and with a careful observation of the cathedral and its spaces, it provides a space for debate and questioning of architectural knowledge, with a reading of themes and reflection on the phasing.
