Relatório de Estágio Profissionalizante realizado na equipa Sub-17 do Boavista Futebol Clube, SAD: Estudos dos comportamentos defensivos na época desportiva 2017/2018

Abstract

This internship report is presented in the scope of the 2nd Masters Cycle in Sports for Children and Young People, of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto, and was held in the U17 team of Boavista Futebol Clube, SAD, during the 2017/2018 sports season. One of the main objectives of this was centered on my growth as a football coach. This being my second year in Football 11, i tried to acquire new technical-tactical knowledge of the Football game. As such, I was the trainee coach in the UFC, SAD U17, and my job was to assist in the training process, to warm up the players in training and games together with one of the second coaches and to film the team games. One other goal was to increase my experience and competence in game analysis. As such, a study was carried out to analyze the defensive behaviors of the Boavista Futebol Clube, SAD U17 team in 9 games of the National Championship of Under 17, 4 of which corresponded to the first phase of the same competition and the other 5 to the second phase. The objective of the study was to identify standard behaviors in the team and differences in behavior according to the quality of the opponent. He verified that the standard behaviors were the ones of marking to the man and closing of the longitudinal spaces, being that the types of opponents with more significant behaviors were those of greater difficulty, that is, Tth and Tf. It was only the second study carried out with the SOC-DEF instrument, therefore more work should be developed with it.
