| Abstract: | This dissertation, titled "O Outeirinho da Quintã - Reconstrução da Quinta do Outeirinho, Cidade da Lixa", (O Outeirinho da Quintã - Reconstruction of Quinta do Outeirinho, Lixa City), seeks to respond to the problem of architectural intervention in a rural context. The main objective of the intervention proposal is to transform a former drydock into a nursing home, based on the pre-existence analysis. In this approach to the place of intervention, a previous study is carried out for the edified set, defining a program and enhancing the future approach focused mainly on the link between the past and present, and the future, the rural and the city of today. This process is exposed in a theoretical-practical approach divided into two parts: Circumstance, thematic and context (theory) and Project (practical). Through this structure, the potentialities of the site and the personal motivations, as well as the pre-existence constraints, become known and evidenced. |
| Description: | Esta dissertação, titulada de "O Outeirinho da Quintã - Reconstrução da Quinta do Outeirinho, Cidade da Lixa", procura responder à problemática da intervenção arquitetónica em contexto rural. A proposta de intervenção tem como principal objetivo a transformação de um antigo sequeiro numa casa de repouso, tendo como base a análise da pré-existência. Nesta abordagem ao local de intervenção, faz-se ainda um estudo prévio para o conjunto edificado, definindo um programa e potenciando a abordagem futura centrada, principalmente, na ligação entre o passado o presente e o futuro, o rural e o citadino da atualidade. Este processo é exposto, numa abordagem teórico-prática dividida em duas partes: Circunstância, temática e contexto (teoria) e Projeto (pratico). Através desta estrutura, dá-se a conhecer e evidenciam-se as potencialidades do local e as motivações pessoais, assim como as condicionantes da pré-existência. |
