| Abstract: | The challenge proposed by Fr. JoséManuel Lima materializes the intention ofapllying all the knowledge in architecture: tocreate a new Parish Center for Vilar doParaíso. The location is defined and theprogram is drafted.Then, it follows a set of own experiencesthat intimately relate the author to thespaces and themes that make part of thearchitectonic shape essence.A sketchbook, in-between the author andthose experiences, exposes records of thoseencounters, physical or imagined, drawn orwritten, which are intersected with lines thatseek that shape.This dissertation is the exploration ofthat process lines - the arch line - glimpsingin each experience - in each stone- theessence of the project, that is, the bridge. |
