Abstract: Following Linchenko and Montgomery's arguments we show that the smash product of a semiprime module algebra, satisfying a polynomial identity and an involutive weak Hopf algebra is semiprime. We get new insight into the existence of non-trivial central invariant elements in non-trivial H-stable ideals of subdirect products of certain H-prime module algebras satisfying a polynomial identity by considering an adapted version of Kaplansky's theorem
and by introducing a Brown-McCoy radical for module algebras. We extend Puczylowski and Smoktunowicz's description of the Brown-McCoy radical of a polynomial ring to module algebras and apply our result to left bialgebroid
measurings, gradings and involutions. The paper finishes with an extension of results by Bergen et al. and Cohen at al. on irreducible module algebras to weak Hopf actions.

Abstract: This work is a contribution to the e-Framework, arguably the most
prominent e-learning framework today, and consists of the definition of
a service for the automatic evaluation of programming exercises. This
evaluation domain differs from trivial evaluations modelled by
languages such as the IMS Question &amp; Test Interoperability (QTI)
specification. Complex evaluation domains justify the development of
specialized evaluators that participate in several business processes.
These business processes can combine other type of systems such as
Programming Contest Management Systems, Learning Management
Systems, Integrated Development Environments and Learning Object
Repositories where programming exercises are stored as Learning
Objects. This contribution describes the implementation approaches
used, more precisely, behaviours &amp; requests, use &amp; interactions,
applicable standards, interface definition and usage scenarios.</description>

Abstract: The partial derivative automaton (NFA_PD) is usually smaller than other non-deterministic finite automata constructed from a regular expression, and it can be seen as a quotient of the Glushkov automaton (NFA_POS). By estimating the number of regular expressions that have epsilon as a partial derivative, we compute a lower bound of the average number of mergings of states in NFA_POS. and describe its asymptotic behaviour. This depends on the alphabet size, k, and its limit, as k goes to infinity, is 1. The lower bound corresponds exactly to consider the NFA_PD automaton for the marked version of the RE, i.e. where all its letters are made different. Experimental results suggest that the average number of states of this automaton, and of the NFA_PD automaton for the unmarked RE, are very close to each other.</description>

Abstract: Bican, Jambor, Kepka and Nemec defined a product on the lattice of submodules of a module, making any module into a partially ordered groupoid. Submodules that are idempotent with respect to this product behave similar as idempotent ideals in rings. In particular jansian torsion theories
can be described through idempotent submodules. Moreover so-called coclosed submodules, which are essentially closed elements in the dual lattice of submodules of a module, turn out to be idempotent in pi-projective modules. The relation of strongly copolyform modules and the regularity of their endomorphism ring is discussed.
